Before/After School Programs (TK-8th Grade)
WCUSD is proud to partner with the YMCA to provide the following high-quality child care and expanded learning opportunities at no cost to our TK-8 families at each of our elementary, middle and intermediate schools.
The YMCA provides a high-quality program designed to support and enhance your child's learning in school while also providing new and expanded learning opportunities that not only contribute to their academic success but also to their overall health and well-being. All Y-ASES staff work closely with your child's teacher to ensure homework is getting completed and the child is progressing at school. In addition, the program includes a health and fitness component focusing on cooperative group games and cardiovascular health as well as nutrition and healthy lifestyles.

These programs are provided at no cost using funding provided by the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) and the After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program grants available through the California Department of Education.
