Elementary Visual and Performing Arts

The Elementary Visual and Performing Arts Program is proud to provide dance, music, theater, and visual arts lessons to all the TK-6th grade elementary students in the West Covina Unified School District. Each lesson is designed to teach the Arts standards while integrating language arts, math, social studies, or science standards. Lessons are taught during the regular school day by highly qualified Artists-Educators who bring these art forms to life in the classroom.

Programs

The Share Theater Arts Grand Experience (STAGE)

STAGE is a free, after-school theater arts program that allows elementary students to perform in a full-scale musical theater production with shows for the school and parents. The STAGE program is at each elementary school every year and is an incredible experience for students to express their theater talents. In addition, summer STAGE is a district-wide program that rehearses and performs in the summer.
